Common
Questions:
Q.
What are your usual rates?
A. There are many variables that affect the cost of a project.
Rather than risk over-quoting or under-quoting a project,
we choose to first analyze your requirements and objectives
before we produce a proposal. Our proposal will be detailed
and will outline project milestones, timeline, project cost,
and all potential cost overruns.

Q.
Can you handle tight deadlines?
A. Usually. Of course, our ability to accept a project on
short notice depends on our other assignments at that particular
time. We have an excellent track record when it comes to meeting
deadlines.

You're in Florida, and I'm in _____. Should I worry about
geographic location?
A. Other than missing out on some gorgeous Florida weather,
you should not worry. We have developed Web sites for clients
from all corners of the United States and beyond. Many of
our clients have never met face to face, but we continue to
earn their business year after year. We are always a phone
call or email away. If circumstances require a face-to-face

Q.
I want my site to be listed high on the major search engines.
Can you make this happen this?
A. Yes! Using pay per click services such as Overture and
Google; we can guarantee top billing for your Web site on
several major search engines, such as Yahoo, MSN, Excite,
and AltaVista. The old fashion method of submitting your Web
site to free search engines and relying on your keywords for
premium placement, is fading away. Most of the major search
engines are switching to a pay per click, paid submission,
or paid inclusion format. Today there are many other ways
of driving the right kind of traffic to your Web site.

Q.
How expensive is maintenance (upkeep) of a Web site?
A. It is less expensive than not keeping your Web site current!
An out of date Web site sends a warning message to your client
or potential client.
There are several
ways that you can maintain your Web site, however we feel
that the most cost effective approach is to have a Content
Management System (CMS) included with your Web site. This
does cost a little more upfront, but the life cycle cost is
much lower because you are fully empowered to upkeep the Web
site yourself. All that is needed is a browser and access
to the Internet. No programming or technical skills are required.
This is a great tool for updating event calendars, press releases,
FAQs, newsletters, photo galleries, and eStores. Using a CMS,
you no longer need to hire a development company to make simple
changes to your Web site. Nor do you have to worry about damaging
your Web site by making changes yourself.
Alternatively,
Nexlook offers full service maintenance contracts to handle
"whatever" unexpected Web site changes or issues
that might arise.

A. You own all content, data, Web pages, graphics designed
specifically for you, and program user rights. Nexlook retains
ownership of its intellectual property, i.e. shopping cart,
CMS, and so forth.
